Pete Davidson friends said both the actor and Kardashian knew that the relationship could not last, for a variety of reasons.
The pair are still in contact with each other as Davidson, 28, continues to film the movie “Wizards!” in Australia while Kardashian, 41, is back in the US, we’re told.
One highly-placed source told Page Six: “Pete knew it wasn’t going to work. He’d been saying it for a while, and Kim knew it too. “The distance was a big thing, and next month Pete starts shooting his new show in NYC and he’s going to be busy with that.” Davidson soon start filming his new show, “Bupkis,” which “Saturday Night Live” honcho Lorne Michaels will produce for the Peacock streamer. It’s loosely based on the actor’s life, andThe two didn’t want to continue a long-distance relationship, as she lives in Los Angeles and he will be filming a new series in New York City.
“Pete’s been able to relax in Australia and really be himself, there hasn’t been that much paparazzi,” said another source.
