Este año se entregarán los premios en 48 categorías que incluyen los géneros de Latin Pop, Tropical, Latin Rhythm y Regional Mexicano. Además, la edición de este año anunció que se han agregado dos nuevas categorías: Global 200 Artista Latino del Año y Global 200 Canción Latina del Año. La entrega de premios se realizará en una ceremonia en vivo el próximo 5 de octubre desde el Watsco Center en Coral Gables, Florida, con transmisión de la cadena Telemundo desde las 7p.m./6 Centro.
