Big Tech’s new business model is making you pay for security and basic customer service. That’s called a protection racket when mobsters do it.

It says the target audience for the service, coming to the United States in the coming months, is the creator or influencer community. Those people, it says, try to grow a large following and are at increased risk for impersonation attempts.
