Ross Kinghorn was last seen in Blair Atholl on January 16
, after being captured on CCTV boarding a train from Linlithgow, West Lothian, at around 6.30am on Monday, January 16. The 57-year-old was travelling to the Bridge of Tilt area in Perthshire with the intention of going on a hike.
He was reported missing on Friday, January 20 after he failed to return from the trip as planned, with police launching an extensive search of the area. Some of Ross's personal items have since been found near Bridge of Tilt. Ross is described as a white male, 5ft 8ins tall, slim build, bald head and is believed to have been dressed in a blue beanie hat, blue waterproof jacket, green fleece, grey walking trousers and brown boots when he disappeared.
