BC Transit is now conducting its own internal investigation.
One person in a wheelchair was sent to hospital with serious, non-life-threatening injuries after colliding with a BC Transit bus Tuesday evening, according to Victoria Police.
A BC Transit spokesperson says the collision involved a person using a motorized wheelchair and one of its buses, and photos captured by witnesses show the chair pinned under the vehicle.
