The line was recently reopened but delays are expected while crews and and units get back into position.
A person has died after being struck by a train at a Scots station. Emergency services rushed to Uddingston train station following reports of a casualty on the tracks shortly before 6am on Monday January 23.
ScotRail cancelled morning services in the area while emergency services dealt with the incident. Train tickets were accepted on buses as commuters were urged to travel via other services. "Paramedics also attended however sadly a person was pronounced dead at the scene. The incident is not being treated as suspicious and a report will be prepared for the Procurator Fiscal."
