Man City are unbeaten in their last 66 games with Rodri on the pitch but Guardiola accepted that he would be willing to rest the Spain international.
Man City were handed other fitness concerns during their 3-3 draw at the Santiago Bernabeu. Kevin De Bruyne withdrew from the starting XI due to illness, while Phil Foden sustained a 'bad dead leg'. When asked about the midfield duo, Guardiola attempted to keep fans guessing. The manager said he hadn't checked in with his medical team since returning from Madrid, although both players were seen participating in Wednesday's recovery session.
