Three people police are hunting in connection with the tragic death of a 10-year-old girl are thought to have left the country.
Police remained at the scene, on Hammond Road, yesterday while members of the public left flowers and tributes at the semi-detached property. People were seen teary-eyed with one man doffing his hat as he walked by, reports the Mirror. One local, who asked not to be named, said the girl was the middle child with a baby brother aged one and an older brother thought to be around 12 or 13. They had moved to the area around "four or five months ago", she said, and appeared to be a "good happy family", and described the situation as "heartbreaking".
Surrey Police Senior Investigating Officer, Detective Chief Inspector Debbie White, said yesterday: “Our investigation into this tragic incident has continued at pace today with a number of enquiries under way. We have identified three people we would like to speak to in connection with our investigation and from our enquiries, we believe that they left the country on Wednesday, 9 August.
