Firefighters fear the crash may have caused a gas leak
People have been evacuated from their homes in north Manchester due to a suspected gas leak after a car crashed into the front of a house.
Dramatic pictures show the aftermath of the crash, which saw a white Jaguar smash head on through the garden wall and into the front window of a property on Moston Lane. “One fire engine from Hollins and the technical rescue unit from Leigh were quickly mobilised to the scene. The incident involved a car colliding with an end of terrace house. “The collision has caused a suspected gas leak and adjoining properties have been evacuated as a precaution. Fire crews remain at the scene, working with Greater Manchester Police and Cadent to make the area safe.”
