Pennsylvania has fallen among the states with the least clean tap water, according to a new report.
— a “health-led initiative [which] aims to grow a helpful community of a health focused education across the entire width of the globe” — based this report on data from the federal Environmental Protection Agency .
This particular data focused on the number of public water system violations which occurred in each state throughout the entirety of last year. Once it was lifted, Great Green Wall researchers calculated the number of violations per one million residents in order to see how each region shaped up. As far as states with the best tap water go, South Carolina came in third; California in second; and Kentucky ranked first.
Then there are those at the bottom of the list, like Pennsylvania: The Keystone State ranked 42 overall on the list, meaning it was among the 10 states with the worst tap water quality in the nation.
