Pennsylvania is the state with the second-most craft breweries in the country, according to a recent report by the Brewers Assocation.
, the general consensus is that the majority of breweries’ profit stems from taprooms themselves, a.k.a, people actually going to the brewery to buy beer there.
“We have a few hints from other data sources, such as retail census data, that shows foodservice and drinking places sales up 15% in real times versus last year ,” adds the report. “Similarly, Open Table reservations were only 6.2% below 2019 in the first half of 2022, versus 30.5% below 2019 levels in the first half of 2021.”
The state who snagged the number one spot as having the most craft breweries was California with a total number of 931. Note to readers: if you purchase something through one of our affiliate links we may earn a commission.
