A Democratic Pennsylvania state representative remains defiant amid criticism for videos he posted of himself confronting anti-abortion activists who were protesting outside a Philadelphia Planned Parenthood.
In a video shared on his Facebook account on April 18, Sims approached a group of about five protesters he says had been"shaming young girls" in front of the entrance to Planned Parenthood Southeastern Pennsylvania. Sims returned to the same Planned Parenthood on Thursday and shot another video, which he streamed on Periscope and shared on Twitter.
"What you're doing here is disgusting. This is wrong. You have no business being out here," he tells her. He accuses her of being engaged in"a racist act of judgment." — Brian Sims May 2, 2019 The woman ignores Sims for about the first four minutes before telling him to"get your camera out of my face."
