Joe Hermitt | [email protected] Nittany Lions’ Nov. 3 game against Maryland at SECU Stadium will kick off at 3:30 p.m. and air on a FOX network, the Big Ten announced on Monday afternoon.This will be just the third 3:30 p.m. start Penn State has had this season, along with the Nittany Lions’ 63-0 win over UMass on Oct. 14.
This week’s game against Indiana will be the fifth of six confirmed noon starts for James Franklin’s team. The Nittany Lions faced Delaware, Illinois, Northwestern and Ohio State in the early window. They will do the same against Michigan on Nov. 11 at Beaver Stadium, also airing on FOX. Penn State has a 42-3-1 all-time record against Maryland, most recently taking down Taulia Tagovailoa and the Terrapins, 30-0, at Beaver Stadium last season.
Maryland is 5-2 overall with wins against Michigan State, Virginia, Indiana, Towson and Charlotte and losses to Ohio State and Illinois. The Terps play Northwestern this weekend.
