Penn State had to rally late in the fourth quarter Saturday to beat Indiana, 33-24. The Hoosiers tied the game on a field goal with 2:04 left after PSU quarterback Drew Allar’s first interception of the season. The Nittany Lion defense held Indiana to three and enable the offense to get the ball back for the win.
Allar hit wide receiver KeAndre Lambert-Smith with a 57-yard touchdown pass to put the Lions up with 1:04 left. On Indiana’s first play after the score, Penn State defensive end Dani Dennis-Sutton sacked Indiana quarterback Brendan Sorsby forcing a fumble that bounced out of the end zone for a safety, sealing the win.
