Spanish director Pedro Almodóvar more than holds his own on the red carpet among his leading ladies, Julianne Moore and Tilda Swinton.
We can talk all day about Taylor Russell’s roster of show-stopping Venice Film Festival outfits or Raffey Cassidy’s newly minted fashion darling status, but allow me to raise you Pedro Almodóvar as a style star to watch. The Spanish director hit the Italian festival this week to promote his latest film, The Room Next Door, starring Julianne Moore and Tilda Swinton.
As a previous Loewe attendee, it’s no wonder that he turned to the Spanish brand for the occasion, wearing a salmon pink double-breasted suit, which he accessorized to the nines with a gold feather brooch that ran down the length of his lapel and a pair of Loewe inflated sunglasses. Even the director’s casual looks were chic. At the photocall for The Room Next Door, he rocked a pair of colorful Loewe sneakers with his favorite sunglasses, a striped tee, jeans, and a gray chore coat.
