Pedestrian struck by vehicle in downtown St. John's Thursday night

A female pedestrian was sent to hospital Thursday night after she was struck by a vehicle in St. John's Thursday night. Saltwire staffST. JOHN'S, N.L. — One person was sent to hospital following a vehicle-pedestrian collision in St. John’s Thursday night.

The incident happened at about 7:15 p.m. on Water Street west when a young female was struck by an eastbound SUV. When the Telegram arrived on scene, she was sitting on the edge of a sidewalk and being treated by St. John’s Regional firefighters.
