Pedalling from Edmonton to Manitoba to raise funds for PTSD service dog program yeg
Sgt. Rob Nederlof, currently in charge of the vehicle section at CFB Shilo in Manitoba, rode from Wawanesa, Man. to Lethbridge for last year’s “Prairie Thousand” fundraiser, raising just over $19,000.
Throughout his military career, Nederlof said he has seen first-hand how much a support dog can help someone. Nederlof did not make it to Edmonton during his inaugural ride last year, however, he said it means a lot to him to start the 2022 ride from the base he served at for 12.
