Peace Officers Memorial Run going through Quinte Friday
Do not be surprised to see a police escorted group of runners making it’s way through the Quinte region Friday.
Over 300 police and other law enforcement, from across the province, are taking part in the annual National Peace Officers Memorial Run.The run began in Toronto Thursday and will end on Parliament Hill at the National Police and Peace Officer’s Memorial Sunday.The runners will be on Old Highway 2 for most of the route through the Quinte region.
