This morning, Paulina Porizkova sang the praises of her jeans…but then again, they weren’t really jeans. Instead, they were a pair of $250 Rag & Bone sweatpants that had the trompe l’oeil effect of a tried-and-true pair of denim. Porizkova, 56, showed off the high-waisted, baggy pair—the, which boasts an artfully shredded hem—with a DIY knotted T-shirt that showed off her abs.
This wasn’t a mere ode. . The veteran supermodel is just truly in love with these pants, and wrote about the trials of finding them when they were out of stock. In her caption, she explained that she had initially bought a pair seven years ago, and they became “the single most used and precious thing in my closet.” She was “never not on a plane wearing them.” When she couldn’t find another pair of the jean-sweats, she resorted to eBay, although the one she purchased was too small for her.
