Man United icon Paul Scholes has taken aim at two of the club's most exciting young players in a now-deleted social media post
Manchester United great Paul Scholes has seemingly taken to social media to criticise youngsters Kobbie Mainoo and Alejandro Garnacho , suggesting they're not meeting the high standards expected at the club.
The image of the two players donning their hoodies at Carrington sparked the United legend's reaction. Despite their contributions on the pitch, Scholes pointed out that professionalism starts with the right attitude in training and his abrupt sign-off, "bye", could imply a call for manager Erik ten Hag to take action if necessary.
And Ten Hag believes these young stars, as well as defender Willy Kambwala, 18, highlight that despite a disappointing campaign, there is a bright future at Old Trafford. "I am very pleased, very happy and it is another signal and message of the future of Manchester United," the Dutchman said last week.
