Britain’s favourite baker on making ginger biscuits with his mum, his quiet side, and how he nearly became a sculptor
“Don’t look at me,” laughs the 56-year-old as we chat over Zoom – he is wearing sunglasses, sitting outdoors at his Kent home. “It wasthat made baking cool, not me.
