Police have arrested one suspect and confirm some were injured during the scrap inside a property
Police patrols have been stepped up after knife was brandished during a fight in a pub which left a number of people with injuries.
At around 6.30pm on Sunday, police were called to reports of a fight involving a group of males inside a property on Manchester Old Road in Middleton. Officers arrested a 34-year-old man on suspicion of assault and he still remains in custody for questioning.GMP said injuries were sustained by some of the group, although they did not confirm how many, but none were left in a life-threatening condition after a knife was produced during the clash.
A statement from Greater Manchester Police said: "At around 6:30pm on Sunday 1 October 2023, Greater Manchester Police were called to reports of a fight involving a group of males from a property on Manchester Old Road in Rochdale.
