Patrick McMahon, a long-time Summerside resident, is throwing his name in the running for city council in Ward 5.SUMMERSIDE, P.E.I. — Patrick McMahon has announced his candidacy for Summerside city council in Ward 5.
"I have sat in a variety of executive boards in a variety of industries and feel the experience that I have garnered from these I can put to good use in council," he said in a release announcing his candidacy. He said he is passionate about the direction that Summerside is moving and hopes to see opportunities for children to stay and prosper in the city.
