Passenger 'misses train home' after 'horrendous' wait for almost two hours for luggage at Manchester Airport

Disgruntled passengers claimed to have waited for almost two hours for their luggage at Manchester Airport on Sunday evening , with one man missing his last train home after his Jet2 flight had landed.

The flights impacted were those operated by Jet2, from Dubrovnik to Terminal 2 and and Athens to Terminal 1, with one man claiming the wait was 'horrendous' as it took almost two hours for him to collect his suitcase. The airline operates with their own baggage handlers and has been contacted for a comment.

"The flight was already delayed to begin with and this was the last thing I wanted. We were told absolutely nothing. We were not even given a bottle of water.
