A tree fell onto a car near a tunnel along the Central Expressway towards the Ayer Rajah Expressway on Wednesday morning .

Several Stompers alerted Stomp to the incident and shared videos and photos of a car underneath a tree amidst heavy rain.Stomp understands the car was damaged and there were no casualties. At 9.18am, the Land Transport Authority tweeted that there was an accident and that the CTE tunnel was closed before the Orchard Road exit.— LTATrafficNews
