An a parliamentary committee will hold an emergency meeting Wednesday to look into $101.4 million in federal contracts awarded to McKinsey.

“Such services may be used to support complex programs, including digital modernization and other large transformation initiatives,” it added. Minister of public services and procurement Helena Jaczek and president of the Treasury Board Mona Fortier have already said they were prepared to work with the committee.Article content
The Bloc and the NDP also agreed to look into this matter, highlighting that Canada already has a public service that should be able to do this work at a fraction of the cost and there is no reason for the federal government to hand over its work to a multinational company.
