JOHANNESBURG - The alleged Parliament arsonist Zandile Mafe will remain in police custody until next week Friday.This comes after his lawyers argued he was denied this opportunity twice.Earlier this month, Mafe’s defence challenged in court his referral for a 30-day psychiatric observation.Mafe says the state should not fear that he will run away if granted bail.
