A GROUP of parents whose children died after being inoculated with the anti-dengue Dengvaxia vaccine have filed an administrative case before the Supreme Court against a Quezon City judge whom they claimed was 'partial and unfair.

'Ramil Pestilos, Liza Maquilan, Elena Baldonado, Ariel Hedia, Ian Colite, Analyn Ebona, Almer Bautista, Darwin Bataan and Merly Bataan filed a complaint on February 28 against Regional Trial Court Branch 13 Judge Lily Ann Marcos-Padaen.Padaen took over the criminal case filed by the initial batch of eight parents whose children's deaths were linked to Dengvaxia after Judge Jose Bautista of Branch 107 inhibited them.Former Health secretary and now Iloilo Rep.

They noted that they had suspected that she was partial when she did not want to handle the case after it was raffled off to her sala following Bautista's inhibition.'Her refusal to handle the criminal case only showed her belief that it was not under her jurisdiction being a family court which influenced her decision to turn down testimonies and evidence the prosecutors had supposedly presented,' they said.
