Slain 17-year-old Soshanguve pupil, Palesa Malatji, has been laid to rest.
Her uncle, Mose Malatji, reflected on a life that was cut short.He said,"Palesa was a disciplined, well-mannered child. She respected everyone - whether a family member, a parent or young child - she respected them all."
"She loved school. She had her own dreams and one of these was to become a doctor or a pharmacist, depending on where her marks would take her. She really loved school." "If you said to her, 'Don't go to school', she would cry. She was ill, she had fits but she never gave up." Soshanguve matric pupil, Palesa Malatji is being laid to rest today. The 17-year-old from Ntsako Secondary School was raped and killed on her way home from school last week. Manqoba Mchunu attended her send-off in Soshanguve.
