Peter McCormick, 66, sexually assaulted three of his child victims as they slept.
Peter McCormick, 66, admitted to the sexual assault of four victims - who were all under the age of 13 - over a 19-year period at the High Court in Glasgow. The predator's heinous acts, which included attacking three of the children as they slept, took place in Stirling between 1978 and 1996.
The following year in 1979, McCormick targeted his third victim by supplying the child with alcohol and encouraging him to keep drinking. The boy woke up in the middle of the night to find the accused abusing him. “McCormick will now have to face the consequences of his actions. We recognise the significant trauma caused by offending of this nature as well as the lifelong effects it can have.
