Padel is a hugely popular game around the world and is played on a court which is two thirds the size of a normal tennis court. Combining elements of squash, tennis and badminton, it is popular in countries such as Spain, Portugal and Mexico, with its following in the UK growing in recent years.tennis club said: “Our planning submission has been made and we now await a response from Preston City Council which we hope to have by the end of June/early July. In the meantime, we continue to explore financing and cost options.
