Paarl Royals continued their dominant run at home, securing their fifth consecutive victory against Durban Super Giants (DSG) at a packed Boland Park in Paarl on Monday night. The six-wicket triumph, sealed off the penultimate ball by Dayyaan Galiem, solidified Paarl's position at the top of the table and extinguished DSG's slim playoff hopes. With only one match remaining, DSG are out of contention, languishing at the bottom with a solitary victory and eight points.
Paarl's focus now shifts to the fitness of their captain, David Miller, who limped off the field during DSG's innings, seemingly suffering a groin strain. He was unable to bat in Paarl's chase.
