Deangelo Zieglar, 25, is charged with homicide in connection with the fatal shooting of 28-year-old Dowden, who was killed in the street nearPolice wrote in the criminal complaint against Zieglar, who lives in the Hill District, that he had a history of violence against Dowden, and she’d been granted a final PFA on Nov. 3. It was to remain in effect for three years, court records show.
Naomi Dowden, who identified herself as Dowden’s sister, wrote in a Facebook post that her sister “spent her last days living with so much anxiety and fear.” Dowden stopped at the bus stop at the corner of Lincoln and Sheridan at 8:27 p.m., police said, and a minute later the man in the sweatshirt stands in front of her as she collapses.
