James Edward Boroznoff, 33, was arrested Friday and charged with four felonies relating to his attempts to make contact with someone he believed to be an underage boy for sexual purposes.
In a criminal complaint filed on Friday, police allege that Boroznoff sent several explicit messages and attempted to solicit nude photographs from the boy.A detective with the Kingston Municipal Police Department was contacted on Jan. 24 while posing as a 15-year-old boy on a social media platform identified in the complaint as Surge.
According to the criminal complaint, Boroznoff said that he could come pick the boy up and “just hang out, we wouldn’t do anything sexual until you turn 16.” Boroznoff was quoted in the complaint as saying “I need a pic tho because I have to know you’re really who you say you are man, I can’t meet you without you sending a pic. Sorry because I have to make sure it’s really you, not a cop” and “there’s a lot of people going undercover pretending they are underage kids.”
