Larkin, from Mermaid, P.E.I., earned two assists to improve his point total to 15 in 30 regular-season games this season. Jacob Melanson , Ben Allison , Ty Higgins and Dylan Andrews scored for the Titan, who improved to 11-14-3-2 . Joseph Henneberry and Matthew McRae also chipped in with assists. Lucas Romeo and Michael Horth replied for the Islanders, who took a record of 12-14-2-0 into a home game against the Gatineau Olympiques on Dec. 11.Jérémie Biakabutuka and Jakub Brabenec, who recently signed an entry-level contract with the Vegas Golden Knights of the National Hockey League, earned assists for the Islanders.Overall, the Titan held a slim 29-28 shots-on-goal advantage.
Winning goaltender Joshua Fleming, a call-up from the Grand Falls Rapids of the Maritime Junior Hockey League , finished with 26 saves. Franky Lapenna stopped 24 of 28 shots for the Islanders.
