After remaining silent for weeks about Democrat John Fetterman's absence from the U.S. Senate campaign as he recuperated from a stroke, Republican Dr. Mehmet Oz's campaign is now going after Fetterman for 'hiding' from voters.
“It’s time he starts answering for his crazy views,” she said, echoing the “crazy” themed-attacks the campaign has lobbed at Fetterman.
And, coincidentally or not, Fetterman gave his first post-stroke interview on Wednesday, speaking to theIn a video call with the Post-Gazette’s Julian Routh, Fetterman said he hasn’t lost his memory, but sometimes his hearing lapses and he misses words, and he occasionally slurs his words.“I might miss a word every now and then in a conversation, or I might slur two words. Even then, I think that’s infrequent,” Fetterman told the Post-Gazette.
