Solon police will be conducting their sobriety checkpoint in the area of SR 43 and the business district on Friday, Aug. 2. The exact location will be released Friday.
“The Solon Police Department is dedicated to making the roadways safe for everyone. We want the public to know that we will be out there for the benefit of the motoring public and pedestrians. Our Officers work hard to keep the roadways safe and checkpoints are an effective tool to assist in reaching that goal,” explains Sgt. Horvath.Police said the checkpoint is funded by federal grant funds.
“If you plan to consume alcohol, designate a driver or make other travel arrangements before you drink.
