DELAYED START - As crews work to clear heavy overnight snow from the roads, some school districts have implemented a late-start day, delaying the school day by two hours. See if your school is impacted:

SALT LAKE CITY — Overnight, a storm that blew through Utah brought heavy snow and howling wind to Northern Utah, creating quite the mess for morning commuters.In addition some school districts have implemented late-start or moved to remote learning for Friday.

In addition, half-day kindergarten programs and preschool classes within the Logan School District are cancelled today. Half-day kindergarten in the Alpine School District is also cancelled. Although the storm is expected to start at around 11 p.m., the National Weather Service forecasts the heaviest snow to occur between 2-5 a.m. The snow will taper off during the morning hours.
