Vehicle owners who are in arrears with their vehicle licence fees can now apply to settle their outstanding fees in instalments.
“In terms of the law, these vehicle owners are liable for payments until such vehicles are deregistered. He urged members of the public to deregister vehicles once they are no longer in use and to follow up with insurance companies to ensure the vehicle has been removed from their name.
