Instead, they'd likely be selling it to folks who are younger, and younger people don’t want that look.So they took the opportunity to make major changes, updating and modernizing the house to make it more attractive to potential buyers when they do eventually decide to sell.
The most dramatic change occurred in the kitchen, where the darkness has lifted, replaced with cream-colored cabinets, European white oak flooring and white quartzite countertops veined in gray and bronze. “This way, when I entertain, I can cover the grills to give me more room for hors d’oeuvres or other foods,” she said.
