In a media release, Ottawa police said the incident began at approximately 3:30 a.m. on June 25.

In a media release, police said the robbery began at approximately 3:30 a.m. on June 25, when the male victim left the 300 block of Dalhousie Street in a vehicle with several other men he did not know.

Police said the victim was driven to the area of Anderson and Renaud roads, just south of Blackburn Hamlet, where he was assaulted, robbed and left at the side of the road. He received non-life-threatening injuries. The Ottawa Police Service’s robbery unit released a video and images of five of the six suspects on Tuesday, all of whom appear to be Middle Eastern men between 20 and 25 years old, police said. The video was taken in the 300 block of Dalhousie Street.

Police asked anyone with information about the incident or anyone who was able to identify any of the suspects in the photos or video to contact the robbery unit at 613-236-1222 ext. 5116.
