Seven people face a total of 50 charges after police seized drugs, weapons and money in two Brockville raids on Thursday.

Brockville Police Staff Sgt. Darryl Boyd said the suspects do not appear to be part of any larger criminal gang, but rather part of the local drug subculture. Reports of drug-related activity around the two homes put them on city police’s radar.Article content“Multiple people” with nowhere else to stay were living in the residences, he added.
While “they look like a Nerf toy gun” at first glance, the weapons are equipped with steel barrels and fire live ammunition, added the sergeant.
