Talk about drama, it came down to the 18th hole in four of the nine divisions Sunday – the final day of the Ottawa Citizen Golf Championship.

The tournament closed out at Carleton Golf and Yacht Club after competitors had played Days 1 and 2 at Smiths Falls and Rockland.

“It was a grind, but we had a good time,” said Peters, who plays out of the Perth Golf Course. “The scores probably should have been a bit better. I played just well enough.”In LumberJaxe B, Paul Swinwood had a 10-shot margin over Shaun Sabourin, finishing with an 81 Sunday to close at 247. In Dunrobin Distillery D, Wei Zheng shot an 89 to finish at 280 and win by seven strokes over Gordie Tam.
