The Ottawa BlackJacks have clinched the second seed in the CEBL Eastern Conference and earned the right to host the conference semifinal playoff game on Aug. 6.The news became official Sunday night when the Vancouver Bandits defeated the Scarborough Shooting Stars 82-79, ensuring the BlackJacks will finish above the Shooting Stars in the standings.
The BlackJacks will be looking to advance to the final four for the fourth consecutive year, having done so every season since joining the league in 2020. The team is coming off their best regular season in franchise history, setting a new team high with 12 wins on the year.Article content
