The Ottawa 67’s battled hard in their weekend finale, but came up short in a 4\u002D1 road loss to the Owen Sound Attack.

Play Video

The bad breaks continued for Ottawa, early in the second, when Kaleb Lawrence was able to corral a loose puck in front of the Ottawa goal just 2:31 in, and open the scoring. Rockland native, and Montreal Canadiens prospect, Cedrick Guindon restored the Attack’s lead at the 7:40 mark, however, and later in the frame with Owen Sound on a power play of its own pushed the lead to 3-1. Gerrior was hauled down in the neutral zone, and as play continued the other way, it was Colby Barlow giving the Attack a two-goal lead.
