For the first time since before the pandemic, Oshawa Generals fans will be able to toss teddy bears directly onto the ice at the Tribute Communities Centre.
As ever, fans are invited to let the furry friends fly when the Generals make their first goal.
The bears will be collected and distributed to the Durham Outreach Alliance, the Simcoe Hall Settlement House, the Salvation Army, the Boys and Girls Club of Durham and Durham Children’s Aid. Organizers note that more than 80,000 bears have been donated as Christmas gifts throughout the event’s history.File photo courtesy of the Oshawa GeneralsCtrl+Enter
