The City of Ottawa is suffering from rising taxes and increasing debt. Meanwhile Osgoode is getting shafted.

An additional taxation issue in the rural wards is the stormwater tax. Despite the fact that a majority of rural residents expressed their disapproval of this tax during consultations, it was unanimously approved by all members of council, including our incumbent. My goal is to advocate to repeal this tax. I am asking rural residents to sign the petition I have designed.Article content

However, perhaps the most significant issue now facing Osgoode ward is the Tewin Development Proposal. It is outrageous how this has been fast-tracked by council without proper studies or consultations. There is no way the Tewin project has anything to do with “reconciliation.” Moreover, it was arrived at “undemocratically.” It is clear that this project is just another development scheme veiled as community-building. Our incumbent councillor voted for this project.
