Orlando Pirates are ready to leave no stone unturned in their search for new attackers. They’re now digging in the Motsepe Foundation Championship., Casric Stars hitman Decide Chauke is also now on their wish list.
“For now, it’s an inquiry which means there is something they are seeing in the player. They have an interest in him hence they have inquired. It seems they are really serious about bringing in more strikers in the off-season and Decide is one of the players they are looking at. He is a good striker and at his age, he can be the right signing as he is only 28 years old right now,” said one source.
“Their scouting department is doing a good job. They are looking in different directions to find the right striker or strikers to join the team next season. There will be changes in the striking department next season and that’s why they are looking at Decide from Casric Stars,” said the second source.Orlando Pirates reach the business end
It’s crunch time in another potentially glorious campaign for the Buccaneers. They’ve already defended their MTN8 crown and are two matches away from doing the same in the Nedbank Cup. Jose Riveiro’s charges face Cape Town City next but they’ll be without the in-form Patrick Maswanganyi and midfield anchor Makhehlene Makhaula through suspensions. Kickoff between the Citizens and the Sea Robbers onhas nine goals and 10 assists in 32 outings.
