Orlando Pirates are closing in on the signing of highly-rated eMalahleni United midfielder Sibusiso Tau. The 17-year-old was spotted by Pirates scouts during the Pirates Cup and is expected to join the DStv Diski Challenge team.

When the deal is finalised as is expected, Pirates would have beaten Sekhukhune United for the signature of eMalahleni United midfielder Sibusiso Tau, who has already said his goodbyes in Mpumalanga before travelling to Gauteng on Monday.Tau was spotted by the roving eye of the Soweto giants' scouts during the Pirates Cup held in Johannesburg in April this year.
According to a source close to the club, Tau, once signed, will train with the DStv Diski Challenge team whilst the club will be trying to secure him a school around Johannesburg in an effort to assist him in completing his matric this year.
