Orlando Pirates star Relehobile Mofokeng is being monitored by one of Percy Tau’s old clubs, could he soon be on the move?The 20-year-old is fast becoming the poster boy of the league but could soon be lured away, with Barcelona, RB Salzburg, and Percy Tau’s former club, Al Ahly, monitoring the South African sensation.“For me, it will be a good time for him to go overseas,” said Mofokeng’s former mentor, Mandla Qhogi.
So, while a move overseas isn’t confirmed, it seems likely that he will be on the move within the next two years, but for now, Mofokeng’s mind will be set on bringing the PSL trophy back to Soweto.“The boy has been monitored by the coaches of the Barcelona B team with interest. They have been following him and made approaches with some of their contacts in the PSL, including certain coaches they know closely, asking about the player,” they added.
Mamelodi Sundowns have another chance to make in the CAF Champions League today, and the result will include a decent financial reward.
